Little Joule children's display unit
Working directly with the purchasing and visual merchandising team at P&O Ferries, I managed the project from start to finish, overseeing the design of the unit, from conceptual visuals to manufacturing packages & installation guides. I fostered a close relationship with the team there, who were fantastic to work with on such an exciting project.
P&O have just launched a new range of Joules childrenswear clothing onboard their short sea ferries, known as 'little joule'. Joules are predominantly known for their 'British country' style, mens and womenswear. The brief for this project was to create a flexible unit to flaunt the new ranges of childrenswear, with the only real restraint being the fact the units must work in conjunction with the existing P&O store interior (colours, size and modularity).
Naturally, working with the installation of units onto ferries throws all sorts of complications and health and safety procedures into the process. The unit has to be screwed to the floor, the timber had to be certified to certain fire resistance grades, and as they were being retrofitted by an on-board team, the installation really couldn't be complicated.
