Retail Interiors

Retail Interiors

I have had the pleasure of working on some fantastic projects with exciting clients. Feel free to browse through a selection of my favourites below, where I have outlined the role I played within completion of the interior, and of course the architects behind the project.

THE CRYPT - ST. PAULS

Designed by Lusted Green I worked closely with the architects themselves and shopfitters Roebuck and Holmes to alter products from the standard range to suit the space. After a site visit, my job was to produce a set of production ready drawings and liaise with manufacturers to ensure a smooth production.

ACCENT MENSWEAR

Working alongside the Peerless sales team who were in direct contact with the retailer, my job was to produce drawings for the components required. Due to the extensive and somewhat modular product range, more often than not, my job involved updating existing drawings to manufacture bespoke components as opposed to creating a solution from scratch.

PURE COLLECTION

Designed by HMKM and installed by Central Shopfitters. Working with project managers my task was to create a production ready set of drawings from the concepts supplied. . It was down to me to ensure I provided a functional yet completely bespoke system, by modifying slightly the concepts supplied.

MIKI HOUSE - HARRODS

The MIKI House store is a fantastic Harrods concession located in between Giorgio Armani and Burberry. At Peerless, myself and the team worked closely with the shopfitter Benchworks, to design and manufacture the telescopic chrome metalwork frame. To supplement this a selection of standard equipment was also supplied.

FOS FASHION

Located in the heart of central London on Kings road, FOS Fashion have numerous fashion brands on display at their showroom. FOS came with a simple requirement, a basic yet sophisticated product to flaunt their stylish clothing brands. I created the custom stainless steel units (seen above) altering stock frame drawings to suit.

HEALS & SON - SOFT FURNISHINGS DEPARTMENT

I built up a fantastic relationship with the purchasing team in the soft furnishings department at Heals. When designing the bespoke fittings (consisting of the floor displays, freestanding units and a custom wall hanging system) numerous site visits allowed me to understand exactly what it was they needed, which in turn resulted in a satisfied customer.

UNDISCLOSED CLIENT

I was tasked to alter stock drawings from our extensive library, to create bespoke OMNI units for this high street fashion retailer. Opening 4 new shops in the run up to the Christmas / New year period, a quick turnaround was required which involved creating production drawings, product layouts, as well as elevations and visuals for the client.

BRITISH AIRWAYS i360 TOWER - GIFT SHOP

With the Peerless name being synonymous with quality, we were often fortunate enough to be specified for many major new retail builds. Our name was specified for the BA i360 tower gift shop, and my task was to take concept visuals and create flat patterns and manufacturing drawings to match.

OLIVER BONAS

A long standing customer at Peerless, the Oliver Bonas team have won numerous awards for the unique ways they present their interiors. Constantly keeping on top of the image and drawing libraries, my task also includes creating drawings for their in-house purchasing teams to approve for new stores including the one recently opened in 'One new change' St.Pauls.

IZZY SHOES

Izzy shoes are a rare gem of a store opening for Peerless, as we had direct contact with the team opening their first store in our hometown Letchworth Garden City. Myself and a member of the sales team managed the project, liaising with shopfitters and producing visuals for a shop-fit, which is broken down into phases 1 & 2. Click here for more.

I am also currently working on a number of undisclosed retail interior projects, most of which fall under the upmarket fashion, accessories and gift-ware umbrella. Please note, due to the competitive nature of the industry and the blue chip clients / major design agencies I have had the privilege of working with, unfortunately not all projects I've worked on are able to be featured within my portfolio.
